Applying the I Ching to Personal, Business & Project Planning Workshop

The journey begins at the campus of Asian Institute of Medical Studies, 3131 N. Country Club Road on Friday evening 7-9pm and Saturday 9am-1pm. Continuous orienteering and studies guide you throughout the process on the blog http://taotime.wordpress.com.

REGISTRATION Workshop cost is $60 until November 21st then $99 thereafter. Enroll at www.dalebruder.com/twelvebranches.htm using the paypal function.

Participants receive a bound workbook of instruction, reference and the 12 hexagram response to their inquiry of the I Ching Oracle. each branch of the workbook includes 9 contemplations and 4 actions. A branch spans 6 days, one day for each hexagram line.

In Tao Time, the twelve earthly branches are a step by step process of expediting an intended result. The order of branches begins with a divination while holding an inquiry in a cleared mind. The synchronistic response is then evolved line by line until it returns to itself, resulting in a pattern detailing learning experiences of becoming, begetting and begoning while realizing the Oracle response to the inquiry.

Following the twelve earthly branches will always result in new awarenesses, integration of ideal thought patterns and new behaviors into your life.

The Tao Time Way

As a stand alone, the twelve earthly branches is an assured path to follow for reaching a goal. The I Ching's capability to both predict and guide makes this venerable source of wisdom a wise choice of action in our time. Methodically stay with it and you will reach the appropriate manifestation of your original inquiry.

In the Tao Time way, the twelve earthly branches process becomes personal. At the beginning of each branch you cast your personal hexagram for the time period. This hexagram addresses specific attentions. Where changing lines occur notes are made next to the branch line as an alert.

As you proceed through the twelve earthly branches using the Tao Time way a cohesive reality manifests itself.

Spiritual Alchemy

Deep in the Taoist I Ching discipline is a firing process of spiritual alchemy. The cauldron and furnace are the hexagrams Heaven and Earth, symbolizing energy and spirit, firmness and flexibility. The medicines are the hexagrams Water and Fire, symbolizing real knowledge and conscious knowledge. More will be presented at the Tao Time workshop.

About the Presenter

About the Presenter

Dale Bruder is a long time follower of the Tao through the I Ching. Since 1976 he has been applying the I Ching to his self the way psychoanalysts and Zen teachers apply psycho- analysis or Zen to them- selves before practicing on others.

Beginning in February of this year, he embarked on a personal integration of Taoist, Buddhist and Confucian I Ching texts towards a mastery of the 'hall of mirrors at the end of a giant kaleidoscope.' He is on a journey of matching the complex-ity of ordinary real life with total coherence of the three views of Chinese thought.

Life is cyclical and sequential; a series of events and episodes that advances or reverses goals and aspirations.

Making use of and learning from the experience is a key component of a well lived life. Using the Tao Time path changes the social, cultural, technological and economic push/pulls into a flow that is navigable.

Bruder, a business and executive coach, invites you to play the infinite game.
